Starting in the real estate business in new construction during the downturn in the economy, I have been fortunate to build a successful business, thanks to all the wonderful customers and clients I have been privileged to work with to sell their home or find the right new one. In particular, first time home buyers and military relocation clients have a special place in my heart. I enjoy working with Buyers and Sellers to achieve their goals. It's all about the client...what the client needs, what the client is concerned about, what the client's questions are.
With over 10 years of experience, I have been honored to be part of the Savannah Area Realtors Distinguished Sales Society each year since becoming a Realtor®. I have earned the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource Certification and the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) Certification to better serve military clients and the special circumstances they encounter.
Before entering real estate, I was in the hotel industry working in Accounting after earning my B.S. in Business (Accounting) from Indiana University. The hotel business required many transfers to be promoted to larger hotels and bigger roles in the Accounting Department. This experience with relocating, 5 times in 10 years, has given me the insight to know the needs, concerns, and questions that clients will face when moving themselves. Using my personal experiences coupled with my knowledge of the local real estate market helps me navigate my clients through the home buying or selling process.
The job title is real estate agent, Realtor® or Associate Broker, however, more importantly I am an advisor and consultant. Knowing the goals and dreams of my clients enables me to better serve their interests in the real estate transaction. To advocate properly for my clients, having an open communication is paramount. I love getting to know the people that I work with, hearing what they hope for their families and the excitement of starting the next chapter of their lives. I take pride in knowing the local market, being an effective negotiator and communicating the needs of my clients.
